Diffuser Care

Just because we don't light our diffusers like we do candles (and, reminder, we do not light our diffusers), doesn't mean they don't need a little TLC.

The below instructions are for the safety of you, your home, and those around you when using a diffuser. Please follow them at all times, as failure to do so may result in damaged goods and/or illness/injury. There is a small sticker on the base of your diffuser, and a diffuser care card that arrived with it to remind you of these instructions.

  • To use the diffuser, remove the plastic seal, screw on the black collar and place reeds inside (as well as your dried flowers - they should not touch the liquid like the reeds do).
  • Your florals have waterproof tape at the bottom which should help prevent the florals from touching the oil. Do not submerge the bottom in to the liquid, simply wedge them between the reeds and the collar, and try to avoid (where you can) having direct contact of the flowers and reeds.
  • Place the reed diffuser on a coaster or tray to keep oil drips from damaging your surface.
  • We use high quality fibre reeds for optimal scent dispersal, and also to protect the dried florals. To refresh the fragrance, carefully flip the reeds every 60 days or as needed. Remove the florals first, carefully flip your reeds, wash those hands, and leave the reeds for an hour before popping the florals back in.
  • Place in a well ventilated area to ensure fragrance circulation. Do not leave in your car or other small enclosed spaces.
  • Keep away from pets, children and flammable objects. Fragrance oil is flammable, do not light reeds on fire.
  • Wash hands well if you come in to contact with the oil.
  • Avoid contact with finished surfaces and textiles. Immediately wipe up any oil that makes contact with another surface as staining, stripping, or damage can occur.
  • Your flowers are real, dried florals. They may sweat, shed, or become discoloured dependent on placement, environment, and surrounding conditions. This is normal as they're a natural product, and are not perfect. Just how we like them!
